Fish nugget donuts are a creative and delicious way to enjoy fish. They are made with minced mackerel, bread crumbs, garlic, egg, and green onion, shaped into donut rings, coated with more bread crumbs, and deep-fried until crispy and golden. They are perfect for kids and adults alike, and can be served with your favorite dipping sauce. This recipe is easy to make and uses simple ingredients that you can find in any supermarket. Here is how to make fish nugget donuts at home.

 

Ingredients:

- 250 grams of minced mackerel (you can use other fish as well)

- 50 grams of bread crumbs

- 3 cloves of garlic, minced

- 1 egg

- 2 green onions, thinly sliced

- Salt to taste

- Seasoning to taste

- Pepper to taste

 

Coating ingredients:

- 1 egg white

- Bread crumbs as needed

 

How to make:

1. In a large bowl, mix the minced mackerel with all the ingredients, except for the coating ingredients. Stir well until well combined.

2. Grease a baking tray with margarine. Pour the fish mixture onto the tray and spread it evenly.

3. Steam the fish mixture in a steamer that has been preheated beforehand. Steam until the fish is cooked through. Remove from the steamer and let it cool slightly.

4. After that, cut out the fish mixture using a ring cutter or any other mold of your choice. Dip each ring into the egg white and roll it in the bread crumbs until well coated.

5. Heat oil in a small pot over low heat until very hot. Fry the fish rings in low heat until golden brown like in my photo.

6. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve with your favorite sauce.
